Challenger Sustainability Accelerator will host a Startup Battle, bringing together Ukrainian sustainable tech startups for a live pitching competition.
The event is designed as an opportunity for early-stage teams to present their ideas on stage, receive direct feedback from an expert jury, and compete with other ambitious founders in a dynamic format. The event is also open to guests who want to discover emerging startups and connect with the ecosystem.
What to expect
Participants will have a chance to:
- pitch their startup live in front of a jury
- receive immediate expert feedback
- connect with founders and ecosystem players
- compete for 2 tickets to IT Arena 2026
Guests attending the event will be able to watch the live pitches, explore new ideas, and network with founders, experts, and other ecosystem players.
Format
The Startup Battle will feature up to 8 startups competing across 3 rounds (7 battles in total).
Each battle includes:
- a 2-minute pitch
- questions from the jury
- a quick decision on which team advances to the next round

How to join
Startups building solutions in sustainable tech are invited to apply and take part in the competition.
Those who prefer to attend as guests are also welcome to register and join the event.
The Startup Battle takes place within the Challenger Sustainability Accelerator — a 3-month, equity-free program supporting Ukrainian startups in scaling their products, connecting with EU investors, and entering international markets.
Applications for the program are open until June 21, 2026.
The program is implemented by Civitta in partnership with THINGS and funded by the Swedish Institute.
